Written by Gabriel Rench on August 12, 2018
CrossPolitic and Faithwire are teaming up to stream live on Facebook Sunday nights at 7pm Pacific time. Tune in here at 7pm PAC time tonight! Don’t worry if you miss us live, you’ll still be able to download the show on your favorite podcast platform. Also, you can tune in and watch us on Direct TV Friday nights at 8:30pm Pacific time on NRBTV channel.
A couple housekeeping items:
First, our Club members are huge for us as we desire to utilize CrossPolitic to engage the world, for God’s glory and the Church. So please consider joining our club, and partnering with us to fulfill this mission. We have finally released our Worldview Shotgun Series which is free to our club members. All you have to do is to register on our website, wait for club verification, and then you will be able to access our club portal. Of course email us at email@example.com if you run into any problems.
Thirdly, here is our Amazon Wishlist for those who have been asking. Thanks for your help, and for sending much-needed equipment our way.
Lastly, we are slowly building out CrossPolitic into a network. We want to fight laugh and feast while engaging in politics, business, sports, theology, food, recreation, and more. So over the next month or so, we will be adding a couple more shows to our podcast. This week we are adding How to Build a Tent, our first business podcast hosted by entrepreneur Matt Williams. You can find him on twitter here: https://twitter.com/HowToBuildATent.
Enjoy the network!
Jonathan Merritt joins us to discuss his new book, Learning to Speak God from Scratch. There was a lot of back and forth in this interview, and hopefully the back and forth brought clarity to the confusion.
Jonathan currently serves as a contributing writer for The Atlantic and contributing editor for The Week. Jonathan has published more than 3,500 articles in respected outlets such as The New York Times, USA Today, Buzzfeed, The Washington Post and Christianity Today. He regularly contributes commentary to television, print, and radio news outlets and has been interviewed by ABC World News, NPR, CNN, PBS, MSNBC, Fox News, and CBS’ “60 Minutes.”
Named one of “30 young influencers reshaping Christian leadership” by Outreach Magazine, Jonathan holds a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master of Theology from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology.
To find out more about our partnerships (limited number) and advertising packages, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Finally, the best way you can help us out is to join our club membership!
